Breaking news: Good bye Jani Lane! Rock singer found dead.
Images included in my past mentions of Warrant and their relatively new singer Robert Mason have been attracting a lot of traffic for The Other Hair Metal Blog. Consumers using Google Images as a search method find a picture of Mr. Mason, and then click on its origin link. Music fans using Digg.com to look for headlines about the current state of Warrant also find their way to this site. So I’d like to give a big THANKS to Robert Mason and Warrant. I mean – who knew that there currently was so much interest for them?
I am a big fan of Robert Mason; I think he’s got a great voice. It’s good to see the band chugging along so happily. I mean – it has been years since Jani Lane has had his act together, so why can’t the rest of the band continue. But the other side of my brain still wonders if they even have the moral right (and not just the legal right) to tour without their signature singer and songwriter. But that is a posting for another day!
