According to several sources – including TMZ and PopEater.com – comic and Howard Stern Show employee Artie Lange has been arrested for DWI (or DUI depending on which state you live in). With the exception of his appearance on Joe Buck’s HBO show, I always found Artie Lange to be honest and funny. I guess this is just another layer that Artie will be able to add to the show.

According to TMZ, Lange was arrested on suspicion of DUI Friday in New Jersey.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ the comic was arrested in Toms River after he got in a car accident.
Lange and the rest of the Stern crew have been on vacation for the past two weeks -- their typical July break -- but heading into the break, Lange appeared to be on a winning streak.
