I think that I actually count more than 10, but I've been drinking. A pretty cool article no matter what!

August 27, 2008 - The hair metal era of hard-rock is one that many fans and even some of the bands would rather forger. But not IGN! No, we rather highlight some of the period's better moments and highlight them from time to time. After all, bigger selling bands like Staind, Avenged Sevenfold, and HIM wouldn't be here without the blend of pop hooks and metal tattooed guitars that a lot of the band's from this much maligned scene helped create.
